Organic Wine

Our wine is completely organic as excludes the use of artificial chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides and herbicides.

White of Cinque Terre

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 11.5%
GRAPES: Albarola, Bosco, Vermentino
LOCATION OF VINEYARDS: Tramonti, Riomaggiore (SP).
Type of soil: stony, rich texture.
Cultivation system: Guyot.
Average age of the vines in production: 20 years ago.
Period and method of the harvest: first half of September; manual harvest.
Type of fermentation tanks: stainless steel.
Vinification technique: cold maceration on the skins for around 24 hours, after racking, fermentation in steel casks.
Method and duration of the ageing: in glass tanks until March/April. 
ORGANOLEPTIC FEATURES: The colour is straw-yellow. The aroma is an intense blend: there are hints of wildflowers, Mediterranean shrub and citrus fruits. The taste is full and very fresh, recalling the sensations on the nose. Its outstanding taste rewards us with infinite persistence.
COMBINATIONS
Particularly suitable with seafood dishes. Excellent with fried fish and crudités.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 12/14 °C
SERVING GLASS: Large stemmed glasses to enhance the aromas.

Sangiovese in purezza

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13%
GRAPES: Sangiovese, Ciliegio
LOCATION OF VINEYARDS: Tramonti, Riomaggiore (SP).
Type of terrain: stony, rich texture.
Cultivation system: Guyot.
Period and method of the harvest: middle/end of September; manual harvest.
Type of fermentation tanks: Stainless steel
Vinification technique: 10 days resting on the skins,
after racking, fermentation in steel tanks and ageing for 6 months in steel tanks.
ORGANOLEPTIC FEATURES
Intense ruby red colour. Persistent aromas of ripe fruit and berries, prunes and red mulberries on the nose. The clear spicy note recalls black pepper and liquorice. The wine is warm and soft but well-balanced by the significant structure and pleasing tannin.
COMBINATIONS
Particularly suitable for red meat or baked dishes.
